What the course covers
The in-service inspection and testing of electrical equipment is a key component to ensuring the effective maintenance of an electrical system as required under statutory regulations such as the Electricity as Work Regulations. When carried out competently with suitable testing equipment and methods, a client can receive much greater value in the maintenance services you provide.
The City and Guilds 2377-77 with SparkyNinja is delivered with this in mind. This course is designed for electricians to enhance your inspection and testing skills so you can use suitable test instruments and methods to inspect the condition of electrical equipment already in service.
This course will include a study of electrical equipment construction standards, identifying the different ways equipment is designed to provide protection against electric shock and how we routinely test for their continuous function.
